Passing the Torch: Parenting Through Oral Storytelling - Amna Burki // Workshops 2025 - 2026

As part of the 2025-2026 series of Storytelling Workshops, we present:

Passing the Torch: Parenting Through Oral Storytelling - Amna Burki

About the workshop

Oral Storytelling: Passing the Torch invites parents and caregivers to explore the power of oral storytelling as a way to nurture connection, belonging, and intergenerational wisdom. Through stories, we pass on values, cultural memory, and imagination to our children. This interactive workshop draws on folktales and lived experiences to show how oral storytelling can strengthen family bonds, celebrate cultural identity, and create moments of shared wonder in everyday life.
